There are various studies ongoing in our lab and with our collaborators (see links at left). For information on clinical trials, click here.

Lab research studies are precursors to clinical trials and do not provide experimental treatment. They take place in the lab, which works closely with families and their veterinarians to obtain samples in a manner that will make them useful for present and possibly future cancer studies. Participation does require owners/guardians to complete informed consent forms. Some lab research studies cover the costs for shipping and handling the samples and for routine pathology; in other cases, these costs are the responsibility of the family. Any relevant results of pathology are reported to attending veterinarians.
